The short version: SqwarkSelf is US$49, once — no subscription. The licence is good for 3 Macs and every 1.x update. Not happy? 14 days, no questions asked. Email [email protected] and you're refunded in full — a refund revokes the licence key.
The licence
SqwarkSelf, made by Sqwark Industries LLC, costs US$49 once — not a subscription — and includes every 1.x update. It activates on up to 3 Macs you own; paste it on one more and the Mac you've used least recently lets go, with no support ticket needed. Your licence is for your own focus, personally or for a business you run — please don't share or resell your key. We can revoke a key obtained through fraud or a payment chargeback.
Refunds
14 days, no questions asked. Email [email protected] and you're refunded in full — a refund revokes the licence key.
If you're offline
A SqwarkSelf licence key checks out entirely on your Mac — a signature, verified with no server call — so pasting a valid one licenses you right away, online or off. In the background, the app occasionally confirms with our licence server that nothing's changed, but network trouble, being offline, or the server being briefly unreachable never takes your licence away, however long it lasts. Only a clear answer from the server does that: that the key was refunded, revoked, or moved to another Mac. None of that ever interrupts a watch already running — it takes effect once the watch ends.
Updates
SqwarkSelf checks for updates using Sparkle. Updates are optional: decline any individual one, or turn automatic checks off entirely in Settings → General, and the app keeps working exactly as it does today either way. Nothing about an update ever appears on screen during a watch.
If we ever stop SqwarkSelf
We hope not to, but if we do, we won't reach into your Mac and switch anything off. Because the licence checks out fully offline, an already-activated copy keeps working exactly as described above, for as long as you have the app, whether or not our servers are still up.
No warranty
SqwarkSelf is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything related to the app is capped at the amount you paid for your licence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, where Sqwark Industries LLC is registered.
